This came up during a recent game with some friends, and I thought it'd be interesting to put it out here: Do golf caps really have a larger use or are they mostly for appearance? Personally, I began wearing a cap to shield the sun—simple as that. But over time, I came to see that it is more. A good golf cap—especially one that fits well and doesn't retain heat—helps me to stay focused, reduce glare, and even provides a strange feeling of "game mode." Once the cap is on, I am locked in.
